Bali Royal Hospital (BROS), which has entered its 7th year, is now doing external and managerial development. BROS is now developing Karya Dharma Husada Hospital (KDH) in Singaraja area which has been established for 21 years. With the management of KDH by BROS, the hospital is officially renamed as KDH BROS Hospital.
The re-launching of RSU KDH BROS which was held last Friday (2/2), marked the new hospital management. The inauguration was conducted by Vice Regent of Buleleng, dr. I Nyoman Sutjidra, Sp.OG in the hospital hall. On this occasion, also attended by Vice Chairman of DPRD Ketut Wirsana, Director of RSU KDH BROS dr. Anak Agung Oka Sulaksmi, Director of PT Putra Husada Jaya Ir. Ida Bagus Indrajaya and representatives from PT Karya Dharma Husada dr. Gede Eka Rusdi Antara, Sp.B., KBD.
The goals of BROS in developing KDH Hospital is a part of its commitment to assist hospitals located in the regions area to improve the standard of health services. BROS sees the potential of market development in Singaraja which is quite rapidly. This reason became one of BROS consideration to develop hospital in Singaraja. It is hoped that community access to health facilities will be easier and it is expected to become an option for the people in Singaraja area especially in choosing health service facilities.
Adequate health care facilities certainly become a much-needed services, seeing the rapid growth of Singaraja city. The goals to have an equal distribution of health services is expected to be achieved through the development of BROS health services to Buleleng. Through this development, BROS hopes to contribute to the improvement of health service and supporting facilities, so that it can make RSU KDH BROS a C class hospital in the future.
In order to welcome Indonesia’s Mother’s Day which falls on 22nd December, BROS in collaboration with IIPG held examination on early detection for cervical cancer through IVA test last Sunday (17/12). This event was held to improve the society awareness on the importance of early detection for cervical cancer. This free IVA examination provide the opportunity for people to check their breast and vital organ.
The IVA test was done by the Indonesia Midwives Association (IBI) under the supervision of gynecologist, dr. I Made Darmayasa, Sp.OG(K). There are 100 participations who participated during the event from all region in Bali. All of the participant also had the opportunity to have a free consultation with the doctor. The event was welcomed by the surrounding community, which can be seen through their enthusiasm and their concern for the health of their vital organ.
This program aims to reduce the death rate of women with cervical cancer. All of the participants also received education from the midwives and doctor as a step to improve community health status through the implementation of healthy living. With the implementation of the IVA test for early detection of cervical cancer, it is hope that it will be able to minimize the number of cervical cancer patient and to get treated as early as possible.

Bali Royal Hospital in collaboration with Yayasan Senyum Bali held a sharing knowledge with the theme “Cleft Lip and Meningocele”, Saturday (30/9). A total of 47 participants participated in this event consisting of general practitioners and specialists. The seminar invited 7 speakers namely, dr. Hendra Sanjaya, Sp.BP-RE, dr. I Wayan Niryana, M.Kes, Sp.BS, dr. Putu Trisna Utami, Sp.BP-RE and dr. Walter Flapper who came with a team from Australia.
In this sharing knowledge, each speaker brings different topics with their respective discussion. dr. Walter Flapper at this knowledge sharing event shared his knowledge of The Role of Multidisciplinary Team in Cleft Lip and Palate. Discussion on Cleft Lip and Palate Handling in Bali by dr. Putu Trisna Utami, Sp.BP-RE, Aspects of Neurosurgery in FEME Patients by dr. I Wayan Niryana M.Kes, Sp.BS and dr. Hendra Sanjaya, SpB, SP.BP-Re discusses the aspects of service and handling of Palate gap.
This sharing knowledge event was officially opened by the Managing Director of Bali Royal Hospital, dr. I Gede Wiryana Patra Jaya, M.Kes. In his speech, he said that this sharing knowledge event is routinely done every year held by Bali Royal Hospital in cooperation with Yayasan Senyum Foundation Bali. Bali Royal Hospital and Yayasan Senyum have been cooperating for more than 6 years with a mission to provide help for unfortunate people to handle cases of cleft lip or meningocele.
Through this sharing knowledge event is expected to become a forum to exchange information with fellow doctors about the development of science in handling cases of cleft lip and meningocele.

Bali Royal Hospital (BROS) held a seminar on In Vitro Fertilization with theme of “You Can Do It By Insemination & IVF” at Imperium Hall Bali Royal Hospital, Sunday (27/8). This seminar is held regularly every year and followed by as many as 100 couples (200 participants). The seminar, which was attended by hundreds of participants, also invited four speakers who are very competent in their field, dr. Ida Bagus Putra Adnyana, Sp.OG(K.Fer), dr. Anom Suardika, Sp.OG(K.Fer), dr. Jaqueline Sudiman PhD dan dr. AA Gede Putra Wiradnyana, Sp.OG(K.FM).
Each of the speakers delivered their own presentation, dr. Anom Suardika, Sp.IG (K.Fer) explains “Facilities at Royal IVF “, dr. Ida Bagus Putra Adnyana, Sp.OG (K.Fer) discusses “IVF and IUI Procedures”, dr. Jaqueline Sudiman PhD delivered about “IVF Process in the Laboratory” and dr. AA Gede Putra Wiradnyana, Sp.OG (K.FM) with related topic on “Fetomaternal Clinic”
Speaker as well as founder of Royal IVF BROS, dr. Ida Bagus Putra Adnyana, Sp.OG (K.Fer) said that the success rate of IVF in BROS until July 2017 has reached 80% while the national standard only reaches 40%. Increased success rate of IVF in BROS itself is caused by supporting facilities.
BROS is one of the hospital in bali which provides IVF facility among others 5 hospitals in Bali. Advances in Reproductive Technology (TRB), especially in the field of In Vitro Fertilization applied by IVF Bali Royal Hospital team has been handling many patients, not only local patients but foreign patients from China, Russia and Hongkong as well. Within a month, the average has been able to serve up to 30 patients.
Ida Ayu Oka Purnamawati, SS, MM., Director of Finance and General Affairs of BROS, explained that the seminar aims to explain the excellent services in BROS and also launching IVF promo. Through this seminar, BROS wants to promote the development of IVF facilities in BROS and help infertile couples to conceive a child.
In order to commemorate the 72 years of Indonesian Independence, BROS held community service at Pelataran Selatan Monumen Bajra Sandhi, last Saturday (12/8). On this occasion, BROS held diabetic gymnastic and provide free medical checkup for everyone who were doing activities around the area. In this event, BROS raised the theme of “Enlivening the Spirit of Independence Day by Improving Health and Well-being of the Society”.
The people around the area of Monumen Bajra Sandhi were very enthusiast gathering around our booth. The event commenced by diabetic gymnastic which was guided by RDC Club Team. After this, all of the participants were able to freely check their current health condition. The participants were able to check their blood sugar, physic, body weight, body height and blood pressure. This community service was joined by 200 participants. After getting the examination, the participants had an opportunity to consult regarding their health problems and the results of the examination. Participants also receive education according to their conditions.
